Alison is a friendly Canadian who moved to Mexico in search of a slower-paced life. She was introduced to handbuilding pottery as a child by her grandmother, who also gave her a love for yarn through knitting and crochet. Since joining the Art Vallarta community, she has become fully enamored by ceramics as a fun, continuous learning process and creative outlet. She is inspired by the natural world and is drawn to creating physical texture in her work.
